Following Passion ? What’s in it for every one?
We hear many stories about people who followed their passion & started a new career leaving behind their well-paying jobs, to become a musician or be an actor or to be an entrepreneur etc.. there are many of them are who are successful & at the same time many might not see the outcomes they expected to see, that said its absolutely paramount to follow one's passion and give our best…however this decision has several significant effects, both positive & potentially challenging.
Some key impacts in my opinion ( Been there & Done it experiences ) :
1. Renewed Motivation & Fulfilment: Pursuing a passion in middle of career can ignite a renewed sense of motivation and fulfilment. It allows us to engage in activities that align with our interests & values, bringing a sense of purpose and satisfaction to our lives.
2. Increased Well-being & Happiness: Engaging in activities that resonate with one's passion has been found to contribute to overall well-being & happiness. It can reduce stress levels, increase positive emotions, and enhance overall life satisfaction, leading to a more fulfilling and balanced life.
3. Financial Considerations: Transitioning to a new career or entrepreneurial venture may involve financial risks or potential income fluctuations, requiring careful planning & consideration of financial responsibilities and obligations.
4. Balancing Responsibilities: with various responsibilities such as family, kids & other commitments, require individuals to strike a balance between personal aspirations and fulfilling duties.
